PRODUCT CARE
At Pez Studio each piece we create is unique. Therefore, we recommend specific care to extend the life of our jewellery.
All our pieces are made of sterling silver and bronze. Other pieces are crafted from 14K gold-plated brass and sterling silver.
Solid gold is available upon request.
Pez Studio advises against allowing third parties to manipulate any of our pieces, as this could alter the very nature of the piece. Pez Studio is not responsible for any changes that may occur if the piece is altered.
PLATING & TARNISH
Pez Studio does not guarantee that the gold plating on our jewellery will last forever, as it naturally wears down over time and with use. Durability depends on how well the piece is cared for.
To ensure your gold-plated jewellery continues to shine, avoid:
- Contact with all liquids, including water, saltwater, chlorine, shampoo & conditioner, perfume, soap, makeup, fake tan, hairspray, cleaning products, lotions, oils, and oxidising agents.
- Swimming, showering, and washing your hands – always remove your jewellery first.
- Wearing jewellery during any form of exercise. Sweat can speed up tarnishing.
- Always store jewellery in a case or box, keeping gold separate from silver, and individually cloth bag each item to avoid scratches and tangles.
CLEANING
Gently polish with a soft cloth. Do not use any cleaning products, as they may damage the plating.
